How does Smartphone Uncapped Work? (FAQ)

What is Smartphone Uncapped?

Smartphone Uncapped is perfect for use in your phone.  It allows you to travel South Africa (95% of the country is covered) without having to worry about reaching your cap.  Say goodbye to those ridiculous Out of Bundle network charges.  The packages are however designed to only work in a Smartphone, and will not work in a router, such as a Mifi device or similar.  Tethering is also not supported.

Is there an FUP?

No, at this stage there is no FUP or AUP in place.  It is however important to note the following:

Smartphone Uncapped – Offers Dynamic Uncapped Speeds of up  to 1Mbps and 30Mbps.  Speeds vary based on how busy the tower you are connecting to at any given time. There are however no speed guarantees in place due to the nature of LTE and wireless data.

Can I use the SIM in my router to connect my PC?

No.  These deals are only allowed to be used in Smartphones.  They will not work in routers.

Do I get calling minutes with the deals?

Absolutely!  Each deal has a set number of All Network calling minutes bundled in, at no extra charge.
